Accepting Donations of Gently Used Items
General Categories of Items Most Often Accepted; Please call or inquire in person as items accepted change on a frequent basis.
All donations must be in working order.
Appliances
Must be working, with all knobs
- Electric ovens (no Gas)
- Range hoods
- Range tops
- Refrigerators/Freezers
- Washers/Dryers (no gas dryers)
- HVAC units, 5 years old or newer
Please note due to new EPA regulations, we cannot accept dishwashers or certain refrigerators unless they are certified lead free. See http://water.epa.gov/drink/info/lead/upload/epa815s13001.pdf for more information.
Doors
- Entryway units
- Exterior or interior – no rot, cracks, or missing panes
- Pre-hung or door slabs, no taller than 84”
Flooring
- Hardwood/Parquet flooring
- Carpet and Rugs 10’x10’ or larger
- New padding
- Vinyl tiles or vinyl sheets
- Slate, marble and ceramic tile
Hardware
- Complete sets of door hardware
- Any quantity of hinges, nails, screws, hangers, etc.
Lumber
- Dimensional, 6’ or longer
- Trim and molding, 6’ or longer
- Sheetrock and plywood, 4’ x 8’ or larger
- No scrap lumber, no materials with nails, no concrete on wood
Paint and Wall Coverings
- Latex paint only, full, unopened and non-rusted
- Wallpaper, borders, tools, and glue
Architectural Items
- Antique items
- Columns
- Mantels
- Porch posts
Cabintery
- Full kitchen and bathroom sets
- Individual pieces
- Counter tops
Furniture
- Bedroom furniture
- Book shelves, case goods
