No Construction experience necessary, just a willing heart
With the help of our construction volunteers, Habitat for Humanity of Pitt County has built 82 homes in Pitt County for responsible, deserving families since 1991. Construction volunteers works side-by-side with Habitat’s construction staff, partner families, and community partners to build not only homes, but hope, stronger families, healthier children, and better communities!

Construction Site Requirements
Certain requirements and information is needed before you can volunteer at a construction site.
Must be 16 years of age or older
Minors between the ages of 16 and 18 must have a parent or guardian’s signature.
Review Safety Guidelines
Minors between the ages of 16 and 18 must have a parent or guardian’s signature.
Bring a water bottle, sunscreen, closed toe shoes, and dress weather appropriate.
Habitat provides all of the tools, but you are welcome to bring your own tool belt.
